Hydro-Québec crew deployed as power failure hits Monkland Village, MUHC

More than 8,000 Hydro-Québec clients in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce’s Monkland Village – as well as the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) – were without power Monday as an outage hit the area at about 11:39 a.m.
The area blacked out is roughly contained by Cavendish Blvd., Côte St. Luc Rd., Decarie Blvd. and Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Ave.
The cause of the outage was not immediately clear and Hydro-Québec has dispatched a repair crew. Power at the MUH
