Hydro-Québec crew deployed as power failure hit Monkland Village, MUHC

The McGill University Health Centre superhospital and 8,000 households were without power while hundreds of motorists were detoured Monday, all apparently because of work being done in front of one house on Girouard Ave.
While a city spokesperson did not immediately have details about the work, there was a hole in front of a home on the east side of Girouard, just north of Monkland Ave.
