The city of Pointe-Claire is taking steps to help citizens cope with the heat wave in Montreal.
The city is notifying residents about air-conditioned municipal buildings open to the public during regular hours:Aquatic Centre (60 Maywood Ave.): 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Central Library (100 Douglas-Shand Ave.): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m, Monday to Friday.
Valois Library Branch (68 Prince-Edward Ave.): 1 to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Friday.
Bob-Birnie Arena (58 Maywood Ave.)
