Highway 440 W. in Laval closed by bizarre accident

Westbound Highway 440 in Laval is closed at Curé-Labelle Blvd. in the wake of a bizarre accident that saw a vehicle wind up under the trailer of a flatbed truck, where it remained as both vehicles swerved off the road.
The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. Tuesday. The driver of the vehicle, a late model Volkswagen, is described by police as a man in his 60s. While his injuries are described by the Sûreté du Québec as serious, they don’t appear to be life threat
