Heroin smuggler will have psychiatric evaluation in Montreal before sentencing

A woman who was recently convicted by a jury of smuggling more than seven kilograms of heroin through Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport will undergo a psychiatric evaluation before she is sentenced. 
Serena Narinesingh, 28, was found guilty on June 29 on the two charges she faced throughout her trial at the Montreal courthouse. It took the jury less than five hours of deliberation to convict the Vancouver resident of heroin smuggling and possession with the intent to traffick.
