Have you lost a diamond ring in Pointe-Claire?

It’s been close to one year since a citizen dropped off a diamond ring at Montreal Police Station 5 in Pointe-Claire. The police tried to track down the owner, but have hit a dead-end.
The white-gold ring with a diamond setting was found on a residential street in Pointe-Claire, below Highway 20, in early 2017. 
The ring has very specific characteristics, but the police did not supply a photograph of the ring to avoid giving away too much detail.
