Gun advocates to rally at Polytechnique massacre memorial

Just days before the 28th anniversary of the École Polytechnique massacre, a group of so-called “gunnies” is planning a protest of gun laws at the memorial for 14 slain women. 
The group’s Facebook page says it is planning “a peaceful, nationwide meeting against excessive firearm control” on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parc Place du 6 décembre 1989, on Queen Mary Rd. at Decelles Ave.
