Fundraiser for mosque shooting survivor reaches $400,000 goal
A crowdfunding campaign to raise money to pay for a wheelchair-accessible home for Aymen Derbali, who was paralyzed after being shot repeatedly during the January 2017 attack on a Quebec City mosque, has reached its goal of $400,000.
DawaNet, a Muslim non-profit organization, made the announcement on its crowdfunding site on Friday.
The father of three small children was one of five men who were critically or seriously injured in the attack on the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec
