From the archives: Faster than a speeding horse

The injured man was carried into Gauvin’s drugstore, at the corner of the street, apparently dead, but in reality he did not cease to breathe until 20 minutes later in the Notre Dame Hospital. The wife of the unfortunate man never lost hope before the arrival of the ambulance and continued to bathe her husband’s head with water.
