Fourth-seeded Stan Wawrinka pulls out of Rogers Cup

The world’s fourth-ranking tennis star won’t play the Rogers Cup when the tournament gets underway in Montreal on Saturday.
Tennis Canada said Stan Wawrinka, 32, has pulled out of the tournament to nurse a knee injury he suffered at the Wimbledon tournament this month.
The Swiss-born player posted on his Facebook feed that he was taking time off to recover from the injury. Wawrinka will also miss a tournament in Cincinnati set to take place after the Rogers Cup.
