Forum on Quebec flooding in Montreal set for October

The government of Quebec will be holding a conference on last spring’s province-wide flooding in Montreal on Oct. 6 and 7, chaired by environment minister David Heurtel.
The forum, called “Flooding Forum 2017: Planning the future together”, is intended to serve as a wide-reaching reflection on future solutions for flood management and land development.
Three main subjects will be studied:
the management of watersheds
the mapping and management of flood plains
the development of
