Former Quebec cabinet minister Jacques Daoust suffers stroke

The son of former Quebec Liberal cabinet minister Jacques Daoust says his father is in stable condition after having suffered a stroke on Friday night.
Sébastien Daoust says his 69-year-old father is in a Montreal-area hospital and is unable to speak. He declined to give further details.
