Former Bloc Québécois leader Michel Gauthier renounces sovereignty, joins Conservatives

Former Bloc Québécois leader Michel Gauthier says he is turning his back on the sovereignist option and joining the federal Conservatives.
He will make the announcement when the Quebec wing of the Conservative Party of Canada meets in St-Hyacinthe this weekend.
