First Nations leaders urge new Quebec government to keep its promise on Indigenous rights declaration

Following the Coalition Avenir Québec’s win in the provincial election Monday, First Nations leaders are reminding premier-designate François Legault of his commitment to adopt the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
