Fire destroys Montreal triplex overnight; 125 firefighters battle the blaze

The arson squad is investigating after a three-storey building went up in flames early Sunday morning in the Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough.
Police got a call at about 3 a.m. about a fire in a triplex on Côte-des-Neiges Rd. near St-Kevin Ave., with residential apartments above commercial stores. The blaze started in garbage and recycling bins behind the building, and caused considerable damage. About 125 firefighters arrived to fight the blaze.
