Fire closes part of Jean-Talon St.

A commercial building on Jean-Talon St. caught fire Monday afternoon, forcing the closure of Jean-Talon St. E. near Valdombre St. 
The entire of the eight-storey building was evacuated as witnesses could reportedly smell smoke and see flames coming from the roof, according to a post on Twitter. 
Jean-Talon is closed between de Fontelle and de Côme Sts. and Valdombre St. is closed between de Bellefeuille and Houel Sts while firefighters work to control the flames.
