Fiery car crash leaves motorist dead on Highway 20

A driver was killed early Friday when their vehicle burst into flames after crashing into the centre pillar of an overpass straddling Highway 20 just east of Saint-Hyacinthe.
While firefighters were able to determine there was only one person in the vehicle, the body was so badly burned its gender had yet to be determined Friday morning.
Witnesses say they did see an automobile driving at high speed in the area just prior to the crash.
