Ferrandez accuses network of smearing reputation after it catches him napping

It’s not against the rules to close your eyes in a long council meeting, Plateau Mont-Royal Mayor Luc Ferrandez said Tuesday after the TVA network caught him briefly napping at Monday night’s council meeting.
“I did not fall asleep, I just closed my eyes,” he said to reporters after he emerged from a city council meeting.
