Editor's notebook: Thank you for donating so generously to the Christmas Fund

Milaine hoped to buy some children’s paints for her 10-year-old daughter. Martin dreamed of taking his kids to Trois-Rivières to see their grandmother. Hughette, in the grip of a rare and fatal form of cancer, was looking to treat herself to something special for her last Christmas.
