Driver dies in collision with snow removal vehicle in St-Léonard

A young driver died Monday night after a collision with a snow-removal vehicle in the St-Léonard borough of Montreal.
The collision happened around 10:15 p.m. at Lacordaire and Grandes-Prairies Blvds. The driver, about 20 years old, was declared dead on the scene, according to Montreal police spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils.
The driver of the snow-removal vehicle suffered a nervous shock, she added.
An investigation is under way to determine the circumstances of the death.
