Draft regulation on pesticides angers grain producers

Grain producers are frustrated by Quebec’s proposed draft regulation on pesticides announced on Wednesday.
The draft regulation, which is part of the Quebec 2015-2018 pesticide strategy, proposes to ban five pesticides.
The draft regulation was published in the Gazette Officielle du Québec on July 19. The government has 45 days to enact the regulation.
