Dorval Astronomy Club invites public to "safely watch" solar eclipse

The Dorval Astronomy Club is inviting the public to come safely watch a partial solar eclipse with them on Monday, Aug. 21.
The event will take place at Dorval Arena, located at 1450 Dawson Ave.
Organizers warn the public not to look directly at the sun “except if there is an appropriate filter between the sun and the eyes. Otherwise, the intense light from the sun could cause almost instantly some permanent burns to the retina.”
