Daycare workers in Montreal and Laval to stage two-day strike

Employees at 61 publicly-funded daycares in Montreal and Laval will stage a two-day strike on Wednesday and Thursday because they’re unhappy with contract talks. Their last contract was up in 2015.
The strike will affect about 6,000 children in daycares affiliated with the Confédération des syndicats nationaux.
