Dalai Lama cancels Montreal address scheduled for October

The Dalai Lama’s appearance in Montreal that was scheduled for October has been cancelled.
Evenko released a statement Tuesday with the news. The Dalai Lama was to speak about “Compassion, Ethics and Happiness” at the Bell Centre on Oct. 20.
In the statement, Evenko stated the Dalai Lama was cancelling the trip on the advice of his doctors, who believe a long trip to North America in the fall would be too much for him.
