Creepy doll X-rays and dissected horses at McCord Museum
Restoring antique toys is equal parts art and science at the McCord Museum. Experts employ X-rays, forensic microscopes and other tools to bring the toys back to life.
Anne McKay, the museum’s head of restoration, showed The Montreal Gazette two antique toys ahead of McCord’s Topsy-Turvy Storyland exhibit beginning on Nov. 19.
