Couple hospitalized after violent dispute in Mercier

An 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man have both been sent to hospital following an armed assault in an apartment in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood Thursday morning, Montreal police say.
The man was stabbed during a domestic dispute around 11 a.m., said SPVM spokesperson Manuel Couture. The pair has been identified as a couple but other circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown.
