Cops probe murder attempt at Gatineau casino

Gatineau police are trying piece together why someone wanted to shoot a 27-year-old man Tuesday night as he sat in his car in the parking lot of the Lac Leamy casino.
The victim, a resident of Gatineau, is in critical condition in hospital after his assailant opened fire and struck him at least once.
A crime scene perimeter has been set up and witnesses are being interviewed, including a person who was in the car with the victim when the attack occurred.
