Construction begins for REM station on McGill College Ave.

Motorists and pedestrians will not be able to use the east side of McGill College Ave. over the next four months because construction has begun for the Réseau express métropolitain McGill station.
Workers must relocate infrastructure for public utilities and municipal services between de Maisonneuve Blvd. and Ste-Catherine St. The work will create noise and dust, the REM warns.
One lane of traffic, in each direction, will be allowed on the west side of McGill College Ave.
