Conservatives' Andrew Scheer courts Quebec nationalists in St-Hyacinthe
ST-HYACINTHE — Conservative leader Andrew Scheer courted Quebec nationalists Sunday at the close of the party’s general council meeting in St-Hyacinthe.
In a speech to 400 party members, Scheer promised that their numbers would be swelled by other disillusioned members of the Bloc Québécois before the next federal election in October 2019.
