Concert for Syria raises funds for hospitals, students

As the war in Syria entered its eighth year, I Medici de McGill and the Centre Culturel Syrien held a benefit concert in March to raise funds to help build hospitals in Aleppo and Damascus, and support Syrian students at McGill. 
For Nabil Beitinjaneh, the president of the CCS and one of many volunteers who devoted untold hours to organizing this third benefit for Syria, it was a labour of love for the country of his ancestors. 
Beitinjaneh, who came to Montreal as a teenager, says the
