Composer Gilles Tremblay has died at 85

Gilles Tremblay, one of Quebec’s beloved contemporary music composers and pianists, passed away Thursday evening at the age of 85. 
His funeral will be held on Friday, Aug. 4, at the St-Albert-le-Grand church in Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, according to the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec’s website.
