Class action suit filed against Evenko for ticket fees

Frustrated by exorbitant ticketing fees for events at the Bell Centre? You’re not alone. A class action lawsuit has been filed against Evenko, alleging the promoter charges disproportionately high service fees for tickets to its events.
Lawyer Jeffrey Orenstein filed the suit Thursday, on behalf of Consumer Law Group. The action names an M. Sidel as plaintiff against L’aréna des Canadiens Inc., which owns and operates the website evenko.com.
The suit targets the $5-$7 “E
