Class action suit filed against Evenko for ticket-delivery fees

Frustrated by exorbitant ticketing fees for events at the Bell Centre? You’re not alone. A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Evenko, alleging the promoter charges disproportionately high service fees for tickets to its events.
Lawyer Jeffrey Orenstein of Consumer Law Group filed the suit Thursday, on behalf of M. Sidel, against L’aréna des Canadiens Inc., which owns and operates the website evenko.com.
