Cavalia employees return to Canada after marijuana bust in China

Two Cavalia employees arrested in China for allegedly consuming marijuana have been freed and returned to Canada, a spokesperson for the equestrian circus said in a brief statement Sunday.
In an email sent to the Presse Canadienne Sunday evening, Éric Clément wrote that he could confirm “the two individuals have already arrived in Canada.”
According to Radio-Canada, the two persons were arrested July 14 in their hotel room in Beijing.
