CAQ drafts local politician as it seeks a win in Montreal

The Coalition Avenir Québec made it clear on Tuesday it is determined to win a seat on the island of Montreal in this year’s general provincial election, recruiting a long-serving and popular municipal politician as their candidate in the Parti Québécois stronghold riding of Pointe-aux-Trembles.
