Canadiens sign two defencemen from the Czech Republic

The Canadiens announced on Monday morning that they have signed a couple of players from the Czech Republic as free agents.The Canadiens agreed to terms with defencemen David Sklenicka and Michal Moravcik, who both played for HC Plzen in the Czech Extraliga. Sklenicka, a 5-foot-10, 180-pounder, posted 3-11-14 totals and a plus-17 in 49 games this season, while the 6-foot-4, 212-pound Moravcik had 5-11-16 totals and was plus-25 in 52 games.
