The Canadiens were given a well-deserved day off on Sunday.
There was an 11:15 a.m. practice Sunday in Brossard on the Canadiens’ schedule, but after Saturday night’s impressive 10-1 rout over the Detroit Red Wings the practice was cancelled.
After his post-game news conference, Canadiens coach Claude Julien smiled and told the media members with a big smile: “You get to go to church.”
