Canada Day military parade cancelled. Will rain affect other events?

Montreal will be celebrating Canada Day and the nation’s 150th birthday in the rain.
Environment Canada is forecasting rain showers and thunderstorms beginning Saturday afternoon. The rain is expected to continue into the evening.
As of 1 p.m. on Friday, no weather alerts were in effect for the Montreal region. 
A planned military parade from the Old Port to City Hall has, nevertheless, been called off for meteorological reasons. Other outdoor events with military involvement, such as
