Bombardier passed over for REM train-building contract

Bombardier Transportation said it’s disappointed that its bid to build cars for Montreal’s REM light rail network was passed over.
On Thursday, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) said that it has selected a bid by SNC-Lavalin and French train maker Alstom to build rolling stock for the Réseau Express métropolitain.
