Boil water advisory lifted for Saint-Hubert and Saint-Bruno

The city of Longueuil has lifted a boil water advisory for the borough of Saint-Hubert and the neighbouring city of Saint-Bruno, which is part of Longueuil’s water distribution network.
On Friday, city officials said routine water sampling had detected the presence of E. coli bacteria.
However, the city issued a statement on its website on Saturday night saying the advisory has been cancelled and the water is safe to drink.
