Body found near Trois-Rivières, near where sailor was reported missing

Firefighters have recovered a body in the St. Lawrence River near Champlain, east of Trois-Rivières.
Sûrêté du Québec spokesperson Hélène Nepton said a citizen saw the body and contacted authorities. 
The identity is so far not known, but investigators are not excluding the possibility this might be connected to a report on Sept. 30 of a sailor going missing. 
In that case, authorities had suspended their search last week.
