Bixi’s 10th season was a record-breaking success; it will expand in 2019

As BIXI’s 10th season of operations winds down this week, the bicycle service announced on Tuesday it had logged a record-setting season of more than 5.3 million rides this year, an increase of 11.3 per cent compared with 2017.
Over the past decade, 1.3 million BIXI users have taken more than 38 million rides and the city of Montreal announced in August the service would be expanding in 2019.
