Bill Zacharkiw: Yes, rosé is a real wine

In the hierarchy of wine styles, red and white remain at the top. Few people have a problem drinking either with or before a meal, aging them in a cellar or paying more than they would normally pay for a bottle of wine.
Sparkling wines come next, though most people consider them only when it’s time to celebrate. My beloved orange wines are thought of by many as an oddity and a fad, much like “natural,” no-sulphite wines.
And rosé? Well, they are at the bottom of the heap
