Beryl Wajsman to run for Westmount mayoralty

Newspaper publisher Beryl Wajsman has announced he will be running for the position of mayor of Westmount in November.“I believe that the mayoralty of Westmount requires a strong and passionate advocate for the protection of constitutionally protected rights that are constantly under attack,” Wajsman wrote in a statement on his Facebook page.Wajsman, the publisher of The Suburban, has spoken out against electoral district changes, and has gone so far as to raise funds to fight them.H
