At least 13 died on the road during Quebec's 2018 construction holiday

At least 13 persons died in automobile accidents on highways patrolled by the Sûreté du Québec during the two-week construction holiday, the provincial force announced on Monday.
The death toll is six fewer than during the 2017 holiday period. The SQ says at least five of this year’s deaths were caused by distracted driving while two others were attributed to impaired driving.
