Associations make final offers to construction workers as back-to-work legislation looms

An association representing construction industry employers in the institutional, commercial and industrial sectors submitted its final offer to the Alliance syndicale, the union representing construction workers in the province in those sectors, on Sunday afternoon. 
The union has until 4 p.m. to accept or be forced back to work with special legislation, the Association de la construction du Québec (ACQ) said in a press release on Sunday after it made its final offer.
