Arrest made in connection with assault in Montreal's east end

Montreal police have arrested a 31-year-old suspect in connection with an assault that took place Saturday evening in the city’s east end.
Police spokesperson Constable Andrée-Anne Picard says the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Baldwin St. near Notre-Dame St.
The victim, a 39-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
Picard says his life is not believed to be in danger.
