Alouettes beat Roughriders 23-17 for first win in more than 10 months

REGINA – It wasn’t pretty but, at this point, the Alouettes are hardly looking for style or artistic points.
Montreal won its first game of the season — and, in the process, ended a 13-game losing streak dating back to Aug. 19 — defeating the Saskatchewan Roughriders, 23-17, Saturday night before a capacity crowd of 33,350 at Mosaic Stadium.
