Alouettes acquire wide-receiver Chris Williams from Lions

The Montreal Alouettes traded defensive-end Gabriel Knapton to the B.C. Lions in exchange for all-star receiver Chris Williams on Tuesday afternoon.
Williams, a 5-foot-9, 155-pounder, made his CFL debut in 2011 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and has notched four seasons with more than 1,000 receiving yards.
