Advance voting begins in 900 Quebec municipalities

Advance polling stations are open in about 900 municipalities in Quebec for early ballot casting on Sunday.
As Montreal’s polling stations opened at noon, the two top mayoralty candidates set out to meet some of the voters, volunteers and their families. It’s the final week of the campaign to impress voters before the election.
Incumbent mayor Denis Coderre tweeted a photo of his team at the Verdun polling station.
